Austin is what you'd expect of an average teenage boy. He jokes around and likes to hang out with his friends rather than go to school. The only exception is that it's actually an act. He can't stand to be around some people, even if he acts like he loves attention. He thinks that his mask is convincing, and he's right. Nearly everyone is fooled by the lies. Sometimes he convinces himself as well. However, Alex Saunders, seems to have some sort of x-ray vision, because he can read Austin like an open book. But Austin worries whether Alex will stay with him when he learns the truth. When he learns that Austin is broken.

After Conrad overcomes his journey, Blake's own experience begins. Tired of having no one that truly understands him, Blake begins to slowly give up on his own happiness. Instead, he focuses on pleasing others (except for his bullies of course.) There's just one small problem.
