"What's it like?" Luke whispered, playing with her hands as they sat there in silence "Hmm?" She turned her head to see the tall boy next to her "Depression, what's it like?" She thought long and hard about her answer, "It's like drowning but... you can see everyone else around you... breathing" ••••• "I'm Fine" - the biggest lie a person has ever told. Courtney was Luke's best friend until she fell into depression and there was no one to catch her. Not until Mark came along and everything was okay, apart from Luke was being torn apart every time he saw them - but it was making her happy, the relationship, so he was 'Fine'. Mark brutally broke up with Courtney and now she won't talk to anyone. Courtney has depression again but it's worse - and Luke has to bring her out of it.

Charlotte was always content not being a stereotypical popular girl, and thank god she had friends who would kick her ass if she ever became one. But now that her brother is on the varsity baseball team she starts to get attention from their Captain, Nathan Ward which becomes a bit of a problem since she's dating the rival schools Captain, Chase Grahams. Secret relationships, nasty mean girls and just enough family moments that make us want to be a member of the Hayes Family. Just remember one thing when dealing with jealous people...
