><><><>< " Some women fear the fire, while others simply become it. " ~ R.H. Sin ><><><>< Fiendfyre was said to be fire that was cursed by Dark Magic and it just so happened that Deveena Fawley was the cursed being that was able to wield it freely. Born as a Pyronite, Deveena can produce deadly flames from the tips of her fingers - a powerful defense mechanism when used appropriately. Unfortunately, in her case, Deveena lacks control and fire with freedom is far more deadly than any spell. After the loss of her mother in a fatal attack, Deveena finds herself feeling alone and ostracized for her ability that her mother had once called a gift. With nowhere else to go, she is forced to move in with her estranged father, which brings her journey across the waters to England. Little did she know, it was only the beginning. Even though she's a long way from home, Deveena finds that the attacks persist and are becoming more and more frequent. Left with next to no choice, many are forced to flee the region, and Deveena, along with her companions, find themselves in the unfamiliar territory of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. However, it seems Deveena cannot hide from the past, and she cannot hide what she truly is, leaving her to solve this mystery once and for all. Only, she may not like the answers she finds. The choice of kill or be killed, wasn't really a choice at all. But she has to find a way, because if she fails, Deveena won't be the only one left to burn.

Saudade ~ (n.) A nostalgic longing to be near again to something or someone that is distant, or that had been loved and then lost; "the love that remains" Emily Potter was a ghost. A chameleon. Someone that easily blended in the background. Someone that many people didn't know existed. Her nose was always buried in a book but she still never scored that well in exams. James Potter was a prankster. The class clown. The star athlete. Some people adored him, while others hated him with a passion, but everyone knew him. It was a common conception that he had never touched a book before and yet he always aced the exams. He was a Gryffindor whereas she was a Ravenclaw. They say opposites attract, but the siblings did nothing but each other away - intentionally or unintentionally. Despite all that, the two had always shared the same beliefs and an equal amount of loathing for the snakes. Enter Celeste Viper, an alluring Slytherin that would change everything. But maybe, just maybe, Emily should've heeded James's warning and stayed away from her. Because even if it wasn't in the way that he meant, Emily had been betrayed, heartbroken, and torn apart. All because of her. A/N: Shoutout to @-hafsaniaz for the gorgeous cover!!
