"I-I" before I could say anything his hand came in contact with my cheek. My head snapped to the right, as my cheek seared with pain. "Omega, SCRAM" the overwhelming feeling of fear took over and I scurried away. I kept my head low as I walked towards the house. Avoiding everyone's hateful glares I only looked at the ground ahead. I was almost to the house when I bumped into someone. Stumbling back from the impact, and slight pain I spoke quietly "s-sorry." Just when I was going to walk away I heard their voice. "What's your name" not trusting my voice I kept quiet. Looking down I avoided his eyes. Despite how much he stared I wouldn't dare look at them. Just by his voice I knew who he was, and that made me shake with fear. The smell of Smoke wood and ash filled my nose. "Lo--Zane" interupted Alpha Vince. There was a moment of silence before he continued. "I have a few things to discuss with you." Keeping my head towards the ground I took this chance to walk away. Still feeling Zane's eyes on me I walked faster. _________________________________________ Everyone has a breaking point, even Silla Blake. Abused, bullied, and starved by her pack, she nears hers. *BOOK ONE* (Can he read as standalone) (Completed) Sequel: Alpha Kaden "You can't love him, you need someone who you're more compatible with," he insisted. His arms moved suddenly, his palms slamming against the wall beside my head, his arms locked into place. "You wouldn't know," I gritted out in frustration. Landon sighed, leaning in further till his soft lips pressed against my neck lightly, briefly, making me gasp. "Trust me, I know exactly who you suit," he whispered. "Remember the night at your house after dinner?" He asked, his lips leaving soft kisses up to my ear. I shuddered, nodding. He smiled gently against my skin. "I did want to kiss you." BOOK ONE OF THE CURSED SERIES "What's your name?" His voice was a delicate murmur in her ear. "Alice," she breathed, gasping as he nipped at her lobe. Their bodies swayed to the music, ignorant of the people around them. She was falling into the abyss of this man, of his seduction and thrall. Her stomach clenched involuntarily as he breathed her name in a throaty groan. "I like that," he murmured as he trailed his tongue down her neck, nipping at the skin at the base of her throat. Alice opened her eyes at the glaring flashing lights above them. She wanted him. Gods how she wanted him... "What's your name?" She dared to ask. Her throat was dry and parched from the heat, from the man that ground his pelvis into her ass... He chuckled, fingers trailing down her right thigh, "so responsive," he murmured as she moaned, gasping for cool air. * * * When Alice seeks out a popular club in hopes of curbing the misery that 'the one that should not be named' had caused, she most certainly didn't anticipate stumbling upon a man who would rock her world in a way that 'the one that should not be named' didn't. Nevermind the prospect of stumbling upon someone who was of another species entirely. Although, she tried to forget about that part. And let's be honest here, it's not exactly easy escaping an Alpha that claims to require Alice for his survival. But like her gramps had told her- "there's nothing like a good kick to the balls." Though, that didn't quite work in her favour a year down the line. How, do you wonder? Well, it's a damn long story to tell.

"They're cinnamon with apple Jam. I do promise they are to die for." The taller mans eyes narrowed, "did you give the poor fool dead on the road a cookie?" My lips parted, "a dead man? Oh my..do you think it is safe?" "..depends on who you are miss, why did you say you were in the woods again?" I smiled gently, "I didn't." He rose a brow. "I'm delivering these," I shook the basket a bit, "to my dearest grandmama." He hesitated for only a slight second, "oh. well. be careful then. These woods can be dangerous." I nodded once still holding out the basket, "so would you?" "Would we what?" I giggle a bit, "like a cookie silly." "Ah.." he scratched the back of his head, "sorry, I'm not too fond of apples." Damn it. I sighed softly, "strawberry next time then." "Right..." As I turned to go I looked up at the two tall men, "you be careful now too gentleman. There are wolves in these woods." They nodded rigidly as I spun and began to skip off, giggling to myself. He asked the wrong question. I didn't give the dead fool a cookie. I gave him two.
