| WATTPAD EDITOR'S CHOICE | Major Aula Reed is a Canadian fighter pilot, veteran astronaut, and closeted bisexual. She's stationed on the second International Lunar Base or ILUB-2 with seven other crewmates. To be separated from Earth means facing radiation, meteorites, and equipment failure while under constant public scrutiny. For Aula, it also means struggling with memories of ILUB-1: the worst disaster in space exploration since the shuttle era. While she tries not to let her first mission overshadow her second, the Moon is an unforgiving place. It only takes one mistake, no matter how small, for history to repeat itself. This is a story of the near future informed by the lives of today's astronauts, whose triumphs and tragedies are immortalized in the public eye.

"You stupid bitch!" Screamed the red head turning to face me. Her drink spilled all over her. "I'm so sorry, i didn't mean to." I said backing away. As i was backing up i was stopped by a wall. The girl came stalking towards me with her hand ready to strike. I closed my eyes ready for impact but it never came. I opened my eyes to see why she didn't hit me, to see a tall muscular figure in front of me. "Get out of my way Ben!" The girl spat. "Stand down." The figure which I'm guessing is Ben said. "Move out of my way so I can end her!" She screamed. "Stand down Camilla!" Ben ordered. I stepped to the left to get a better look at the two. The girl which I know now is Camilla tried to lunge at me but Ben grabbed her by her neck pinning her to the wall. "Why are you protecting this human Ben?" Camilla screamed trying to loosen the grip on her neck. Human? Weren't we all humans? "Because she's my mate." Ben growled. - - - Cover made by madbees NOT EDITED DO NOT STEAL MY STORY

"No one wants you here loser. Ted never liked you. He just felt sorry for you." Savannah Oak says beside Teddy. I look to Teddy knowing that he'll stick up for me like he always does, but he is just staring at the floor. "Is that true?" I ask looking at him. He looks up and nods. "Dont you have a flight to catch?" Paige asks with a smirk. Tears Fall down my face, Savannah rolls her eyes and walks away. "Goodbye Mary Grace." Teddy says closing the door. I slowly turn around and hop back on my bike. How could he do this to me? We've been friends since we were little. He turned out to be just like the rest of them. He never did like me.
