When Elora moves to Everbrook her intoxicating fascination with the mysterious and murderous Mason begins. When she first encounters Mason, he places a knife to her throat and attempts to murder her, but instead of being afraid Elora is drawn to him like a moth to a flame. Mason hates her for learning about his murderous ways but even he soon realises that he would prefer to kiss her than kill her. As Elora begins to break down the barriers around Mason's heart, she starts to realise that not everything in her life is as it seems.
