I got into a "drawing" sort of mood for my two Transformers Prime / Megatron fics, so I'll be posting a few of those here. There may be like 3 parts in total but I figured it was better to put them here than make a bunch of annoying author's notes at the end of the works just to shown you guys some crap. Heck, I may even do some dabbling writing-wise just to give this book some substance. No promises though.

Years ago... The old tired doctor watched the last of the members leave through the glowing bright groundbridge. He turned to look at his friend who never looked at him. It was his time now. Ratchet typed in a set of coordinates and carefully approached. His optics closed as he couldn't bare the thought of leaving his old friend behind... his closest friend. Ratchet was silent, reliving almost all memories that was ever shared with him... with the team. It hurt his spark at the thought of splitting, but they had no other option. It had to be done. With a release of a vent, he exchanged last words with the one bot he thought he only cared about and began leaving the comfort of home and into the chilly winds of north mountains. He shuddered, feeling empty once the bridge closed behind him. Now, he had to find the others and do the one thing he thought he always wanted. Be alone. Never more did he want to be with the others. These were Dark Hours and he wasn't sure how long it would take to find them... to find Optimus Prime. But now... he can't remember and stands before Optimus Prime, happy as ever to see his old friend. "I-I'm sorry..." Ratchet spoke hesitantly, his optics darting back and forth. "...but I've seemed to.... to forgotten you..." the doctor whispered. (This is a collaboration with juiceboxandexpresso the idea is not mine alone. Thanks hon!) He was arrogant, he was cruel at times, his words cut through me like glass. I was weak, disgusting, and nothing more than a meat bag in his optics. Yet why do I stay? Why do I help him? Why do I stand up for him? Protect him? Why do I love him? Sunstreaker was always avoided by his fellow Autobots excluding his twin Sideswipe. He was known for his harsh and cruel words, his arrogance, and his selfishness. All that mattered to him was his twin and himself. Everything else he couldn't give two frags about, especially humans. To him they were disgusting, loathsome beings. The way they breathed, eat, lived, reproduced, and pretty much everything about humans disgusted him. In a person, light brings hope, and hope brings light. One rarely stands without the other, and it is impossible to fully separate the two. Unfortunately, it is all too easy to lose hope; to lose the light. Pain, lies, rage, and powerful crushing emotions tear apart any good found in the universe. Not even beings who think themselves superior can escape the destruction of all the negative energies there ever were, and ever will be. Anything, and anyone in this universe is helpless when the seeds of darkness are subtly planted within them. Negativity will reign supreme if they cannot fight the fruit of despair, and it is a losing battle. They can't hold onto something who wants nothing to do with you. If anything, all they can do is cry out, and beg for them to even consider anything to do with those desperate souls. But that does not always work. No matter how desperate they are, how much they need to cling onto hope, they will lose everything if their faith wavers. These beings... these people... they are losing hope with every passing day.
