This here is a fanfic that'll make you laugh/cry/eat a mountain of ice cream. Nico and Will go through lots of shit just to be together. But with monsters attacks, trust issues, and hate get in the way they seem to drift. Here's an excerpt: "I don't really have the answer to that, Will. But I think once there's life, it becomes for each other. I think everyone lives for the sake of helping each other. To make them happy or to impact each other's life in one shape or form. Until there is no life, and then we can't help anymore. But either way we all take effect somehow." Nico said. It made sense in a way. He had a viewpoint that no one else had. He watched people turn to dust and no longer matter. He watched people be forgotten, not only watched, but he spoke with them as well. Whereas I was on the other side of things. I brought life into the world, or I saved it. I made the path for people, but I never got to see it.

Nico is still trying to recover from his trip to Tartarus. A trip to Hell doesn't leave a person unscathed. There is no one there for him. He is alone. Will sees how broken Nico is. He is determined to protect him, even from himself. He is determined to fix him. (sorry. This summary totally sucks) Disclaimer: I do not own any of these characters. Or the bands. Sadly. Will and Nico didn't talk often. They had that small skirmish during that one war, a small argument afterwards, and then they didn't talk to each other again, only interacting when Nico gets hurt and Will has to heal the death child. Now it's years later, Will is 19 and Nico is 18, and some sort of fate force them to interact. For the better or for the worse.
