AWAE AU: Gilbert is dating Diana, he doesn't know how to tell her that he doesn't think it's working out because he doesn't want to hurt her. Diana also doesn't know that Ruby has a crush on Gilbert. One day Anne gets adopted by the Cuthberts and Anne and Diana become quick friends. As soon as Gilbert meets Anne he's intrigued. He doesn't want to hurt Diana, but he can't control his feelings for Anne. When everything unravels it turns into complete chaos. (This is a recreation of awae but with a twist, I hope you guys like it)
