Veronica Sawyer is finally returning to her home of Sherwood, Ohio. It's been eight years and she has been raising her daughter. However, her daughter is also Jason Dean's daughter, her psychotic boyfriend from her teenage years. What happens when it turns out JD isn't dead after all?

What if JD's mother didn't kill herself? What if JD was happier when coming to Sherwood, Ohio? Would him and Veronica still fall in love?

Veronica Sawyer and Jason Dean had a tumultuous relationship from September of 1989 to March of 1990, when JD supposedly killed himself. Veronica was left heart broken, and as she'd soon find out, pregnant with a little girl. Now her little girl is almost nine years old and is very different from other kids her age. Veronica learns while raising her daughter how fragile things can be when JD turns up alive after all these years.
