She was at HYDRA for 6 months. She was tortured and they decided they would take most of her memories away. She got 2 powers from them, when you touch someone you get all of their memories and telekinesis. She also got wings. Before she was an agent at S.H.E.I.L.D she was trained in the Red Room (RR). Once she was rescued by Clint Barton and Natasha Romanoff (Her best friends), S.H.E.I.L.D had to see what they did to her. They found out her powers, and they figured out that she has wings. She can put her wings in her back or have them out. Only Director Fury and Phil Coulson know about her wings. She is keeping a lot of secrets from Nat/Tasha (Natasha Romanoff) and Clint. She can only remember the RR, Clint, Natasha, Fury, Phil and S.H.E.I.L.D. Emma doesn't tell anyone that she's upset about not having her memories. She left S.H.E.I.L.D for 3 months, so she could try o remember things. But she came back so she could rescue Clint from Loki. She joins the Avengers after Phil dies.
