ramblings of an overthinker

She didn't give them much choice, as to what she did with herself. She didn't say too much, so that she wouldn't give herself away. She didn't speak so she was never heard. She didn't speak so she was always hurt. She didn't speak, her words choked her. They rocked her insides, they fried her brain. She didn't speak until it was too late, until her words asphyxiated her instead. What she wanted to say, she wrote out instead. She didn't speak up, but her words spoke volumes. What she wanted to say, before it was too late. She Series: Book two.

And suddenly, I couldn't tell anymore if it was me the one reading her words or her words were the ones that kept reading my soul
