Running from hell is hard - especially when the devil you married refuses to let you go. To the world, my husband is perfection. CEO. Philanthropist. Gentleman. To me, he's the monster who taught me that love can burn worse than fire. He always put everything else first - his company, his ambition, even her. I was never enough. So I left. But he's not the kind of man who accepts endings. Now he wants to make things right, to atone for the years he destroyed me. Only this time, his enemies have followed him home - and the man I once loved has become a stranger wearing his face. Because maybe he was never mine to begin with. Maybe I was only ever his penance.

I've been reincarnated into the very web novel I used to mock endlessly with my friends-and even in the comment sections. Who could blame me? It was the epitome of clichés: a forced marriage, endless misunderstandings between husband and wife, suffocating angst, the heroine's dramatic escape, and the inescapable regret of the so-called male lead. Predictable, frustrating, and utterly tiresome. Yet here I am, inhabiting the role of that very heroine in 'Husband Is Regretting.' My first priority? Divorce the walking red flag I've been shackled to. But for some reason, the more I ignore him, the more fixated he becomes. And if that wasn't confusing enough, a side character who was supposed to appear only once suddenly approaches me with a bold question: "Shall I be your secret lover?" What on earth is going on in this story? Owner of the cover X\@irt_5433

She saw as he approached her only to pass her as he shuts the curtains, "Go to bed, I will be there momentarily." He said as he began to plunge the room into darkness . She had no choice she must, even if it will be against her will, he was her husband and it was his right. She walked to bed and frowned as she laid down closing her eyes, but as she heard nothing, she opened her eyes to see the room in darkness, hearing footsteps approaching the bed. The bed dipped under the new weight, he did nothing as she heard two thuds hit the floor. "Spread your legs." He said pulling the sheets from her not too gently as she had held them rather tightly as if they were the only thing that could stop him. She gasped when she had not complied to his request. She felt his hands ran up her bare legs lightly running his warm fingers up her legs pushing the fabric up to her waist. Rose felt her face heat with embarrassment as she tried to push back down her gown, but his hand stopped her attempts as he placed them on her side. Rose felt tears gathered in her eyes as he gently but firmly pushed her legs apart as he settled between her. Rose gasped as she felt something brush against her womanhood. She held her breath as her heart felt as if it had fallen to the pit of her stomach as fresh tear streaked down to the corner of her eyes as she held her breath shutting her eyes tightly awaiting the pain as she clenched the sheets into her fists. "Forgive me," he said as she felt him at her entrance. "ROSE!" Ranking HOT #1 12/11/2018 Ranking #1 - spinster 08/12/2019 Ranking Duchess HOT#8 05/07/2022
