Modern!AU Julian Pankratz lives the same life as everyone else, completely normal. He has two jobs that keep him on his toes and friends that support him in every way possible. Everything is normal- Until he woke up from a dream that seemed too realistic to not be real. Monsters, contracts, and someone named Geralt started to invade his thoughts. It made him question reality, and even his own sanity. He went to multiple people, asking what to do about it, but they all said the same thing: the dreams he had every night were his past. It's been a year ever since Geralt and Jaskier went their separate ways. Geralt goes on a mission to hunt down a swamp monster, first passing by a town. As if faith brought the two together again, they cross paths. Only destiny can tell where they'll go from here. As lies are told and blood is spilled, the world goes back into war, fighting to claim a creature holding the power to destroy it all.
