At the beginning of 9th grade he became the school stoner and still is, but Connor had a huge and quite odd secret that only his family knows. He distanced himself from others, had no friends, and was extremely lonely and depressed, but that all might change when he meets Evan Hansen.

Everyone hates Connor Murphy and Evan Hansen. The two losers among the entire school. But what if one shooting star could change everything? This story has gay characters. Evan still hasn't moved on. The death of Connor Murphy was enough to tip him over. Or was it? Evan claims he doesn't want anything to do with things that remind him of Connor. But why push those away? It's been 2 years. Year one was the worst. The only reason Evan is still alive is because he's terrified of self harm. Just because of what happened to Connor. Evan can't stand it, he can't stare at a knife or even a razor for very long without breaking down into tears. Year two was slightly better. Evan wasn't as depressed as year one. Jared was helping him cope with Connor's death. Evan did space out a lot, or even cry over something that's not even sad. I guess you could say he was like a girl on her period. Some days happy, others, pretty upset. Currently, Evan has a job, Jared's in college and they both live together. What happens when one event leads to another, and Jared finds something that might help this case. Something pretty important...
