Nekos are incredibly rare in both the Grand Line and the New World, only being found in either small villages or in hidden cities, unknown to the world. Despite the fact that the neko population is small, many go out to see the world, earning names and bounties. The thing that fuels their confidence and strength is something humans cannot obtain, something that could even make the sweetest neko lose control, a true form where blood is needed and wanted. Because of this form, they are practically unstoppable, but brings up the question: Why do they hide? That answer is still unknown. Monkey D. Luffy and Roronoa Zoro are nekos with dreams and ambitions, driven by vows and memories that constantly beg them to move forward. They enter a world where they will be known and discovered, but above that, a world where they are capable of ruling. Falling off the ship in to the watery depths of an unknown poison. Falling in to the thing that he knew could kill him. He fell. He didn't care though, he knew that his savior would be there in a matter of seconds or minutes. Just short moments to wait. Luffy didn't care about falling off the ship, even though it terrified him greatly. He only cared about who he was falling for. The man he saw try and reach him as he fell. A green haired guardian who seemed to save him every day. His first mate was the one he trusted most and the one he held so near. He put his life on the line every time he was in trouble. He was cut by something deep, he thought in must be his feelings because he stung and seemed to drain him. Like a painful throb, not that he could see his savior feeling those feelings. But all his feeling seem to be returned as he wakes up into the world again.

Sort of ZoLu Rated K Nothing ever bothered Luffy - right? At least, that's what everyone else knows. Zoro, though...he knows how it really hurts.
