He thought she was the girl he knocked out and left on a park bench. He assumed she would be waiting for him when he came back. Naruto Uzimaki thought she was someone who needed protecting. He thought she couldn't keep up with him and Sasuke. He assumed that she wasn't capable of taking care of herself. Kakashi Hatake thought she was an average shinobi. Nothing special, no one to watch out for. He assumed that Sasuke and Naruto were more important. Tsunade Senju thought she was desperate. She thought that she needed training. She assumed that the girl would never excel in anything particular. Only Sakura knew the truth. She was a girl who had seen too much. She was a girl who had never lived up to her own expectations.
