Book 2.5 This is just a collection of connected short stories and one-shots which continue Levy and Gajeel's story after "Bands of Iron".

Book 1 Levy McGarden had known what her feelings for Gajeel Redfox were for a while, but she had never admitted them openly to anyone--although nothing stayed a secret from Lucy Heartfillia for very long. When Jet and Droy go out of town, leaving Levy without a team and no way to take many jobs, she ends up joining together with Gajeel and Pantherlily on their next big job. Although excited because of the positive turn of events, Levy is dumbfounded at how oblivious Gajeel is to her. Hell, he hardly even speaks to her! When things go south for the team, and Levy finds herself in more trouble than she had bargained for, Gajeel rushes to her rescue. In the process of risking his own life for that of Levy's, the iron dragon slayer realizes that this little bookworm might mean more to him that he had thought. Disclaimer: I DO NOT OWN FAIRY TAIL! Book 2 Six months after the defeat of Elite Helix, mysterious attacks on dragon slayers have begun to worry the wizards of Fairy Tail--Levy in particular, who is concerned with Gajeel's safety. Despite their confessions to each other, it seems that nothing at all has changed between the two of them--apart from perhaps Gajeel's distance. After confronted about his feelings for Levy, Gajeel shrugs her off, assuming she would know how he felt about her. Unfortunately, things don't turn out the way either of them had hoped. When Levy is seen with a handsome stranger, how will Gajeel handle these new feelings that arise within himself? And how will Levy react to the affectionate stranger, since she has begun to grow tired of waiting on Gajeel to return her feelings? Follow Levy and Gajeel as they discover that being in love isn't as easy as they may have thought--especially when someone is trying to kill you.

In Volume 2, Melanie and Gray's relationship blossomed as their hearts got closer. Then, enemies targeted Fairy Tail. Oracion Seis came back for revenge, Aquamarine, Aurelie's "sister", came for her revenge, and the evil spirit within Daniel came out of its shell. Throughout the arcs, Melanie and her friends fight to protect one another. Melanie on the other hand, sacrified her life to do so. Five months later, she returned to Fairy Tail with a smile. What will happen next? How will the other guilds react to Melanie's return?

Melanie Ayame is a 17 year old girl whos parents are powerful mages. One day, she stumbles upon the most famous guild: Fairy Tail. There she meets Lucy Heartfilia, Natsu Dragneel, Gray Fullbuster, Erza Scarlet, and everyone else in the guild. During the story, she becomes a strong wizard and protects her friends from evil. Also, love starts to spark between certain characters.
