"Hi, my name's Basil Olivier. My mom named me after the herb because she's kind of a psycho botanist-slash-cook. Olivier is French. My dad is French-Canadian and loves for me to tell people that, even though he was raised in Vancouver. I lived there for a while when I was little, but we moved to Washington when I was a three and I've lived here in Cobalt Bay ever since." He glances up at the tall pine trees surrounding us in admiration, then turns to me, the smile never leaving his face. "So now that I am no longer a stranger to you, tell me about yourself. What's your name, to begin with?" I squint my eyes at him for a couple of moments, then mumble, "Beverly." He nods. "Hi, Beverly." "Hi."

My sister hates her boyfriend because he doesn't care as much. I hate mine because he cares way too much. We like them and we value our commitments. But something's not right so we make an arrangement, To switch places like we have always been. But they won't notice because... we're twins.

These are all little itty bitty stories that are just here to make you happy. They never end; I just keep posting and posting these ideas that pop into my head or dreams that come to me in my sleep. There's never a sad ending, just a dash of humor, and just enough perfection to get you to smile. I hope they make you as happy as I was when I was writing them. Otherwise I'll cry and drown myself in Ben and Jerry's Cinnamon Buns ice cream. I'm just kidding. ...Or am I?

Flora Whyte never understood the definition of normal and why it should be projected throughout society. Infinity ends and beyond begins

When Isabel Shaw was six years old her twin sister, Kendall, died. It took a long time but Isabel finally moved on-lived her life.
