As a sequel to "Survival Love: A Gabentine Story", it's seven months later as Gabe and Clem have been together and leaders of their group for almost a year now as they still live at the camp. She always determined herself to never get too close to someone rather than AJ. But it does not take long for her to come to terms with her feelings while at the same time Gabe starts to feel the same way about her. Can young love truly exist and survive in a world of death?

It's been four years since the New Frontier and Clem has been on the road with AJ for quite a while. Richmond was gone so she just took AJ and it's just been the two of them ever since. But when she and AJ become part of a new group of kids at a boarding school. Clem will begin making connections with new people there. She doesn't trust anyone there until she Reunited with Gabe who is the only one other than AJ that she does trust. Will their reconnection lead to an actual relationship or will the horrificness of their world keep them from doing so.

But when Alexandria gets attacked by a group of raiders, they and their friends are back on the road until they come across a new community called, "The Safe Haven". After this Clem and Gabe take it amongst themselves to do whatever it takes to protect their children, themselves, and each other.

Gabe had always like the ball capped teenager. She was mysterious, not to mention near his age. Clementine doesn't know her feelings towards this boy, she's never felt the pressure of having a friend by her side no matter, she's never experienced love. Maybe all of that will change? Maybe Gabe will change her mind, showing her that she doesn't need to be alone in order to survive. This will follow Clementine and Gabe as they slowly mature, learning new things about each other and maybe even they will become more than friends? (I probably will never do a lemon in this, but I'll find out in the future.)

When Clementine meets Gabe, she realizes she has feelings for him but she hides these feelings in order to save herself from another possible heart break. Gabe realizes he has feelings for Clementine, but he isn't sure if she feels the same way or not so he hides it, or at least tries to hide it. This story is completed
