Barry instead that day was stopping criminals. It's been 1 year since Mon-El left Kara's life. Kara did nothing that day but cry. She lost the love of her life. She couldn't help to think that everything was her fault, if she didn't just release lead into the air, but found another solution, maybe Mon-El would still be here. In a fight, Barry ends up porting to Earth 38, Kara's Earth. Kara and Barry are from 2 different universes and after the break up with Iris the two superheros meet up and eventually start to develop feelings for each other but what they didn't realize until they got their bond that they lived in the same world and the lightning bolt was the reason they forgot each other.
