Taking place at the Bates Motel, Violet Bates and her family recently buy a motel just on the coast of Oregon. Word gets out around White Pine Bay that the motel is now vacant. Things are going well for the Bates, business and all, but when Violet starts fraternizing with a mysterious man that lurks around the motel, things start to get bizarre.
