Hanzo Shimada wasn't the type of person to care for others. He went by the motto of "To kill, or be killed". But meeting him changed him completely in a way no one suspected.

Modern AU -------------- Jesse is new to the crowded city of Hanamura. The city was large and foreign to him as he knew nobody there. He left behind his friends back at Gibraltar. Tracer, Lucio, D.va, Reinhardt, and many other people, or so he called them by their nicknames most of the time. But Jesse meets somebody new, a part of the Shimada family. He knew of Genji, but he has never heard of this handsome man named Hanzo.

"ι can never love yoυ. noт now. noт ever." Love can come in all shapes and forms, but one is not always open to accept it. It is too complex of a thing to just be forgotten, but that's all the Shimada wants to do. He has standards to uphold and one of them is not being in love with another man. His feelings are irrelevant and he needs to push them away if he wants to be a proper Shimada, even if doing so will cause himself great harm. His lover - or almost lover - doesn't feel quite the same. He has never judged love by what the person has in their pants, instead, he judges for how the act, instead. The cowboy has done this since he started having relationships, and is quite used to finding a man attractive. When he falls in love with the Shimada, he doesn't care that he is a man, he just cares about who he is. Who he will be. Who he was. How long will it take until the suppressed feelings crush the two?

Hanzo and Genji stumble upon a town after running from the Shimada clan, that seem to pick them up faster than hunting hounds. Hanzo is in no place to travel, and they stay in the town for a week. But both brothers start to realized that they could stay there longer, stop running and enjoy the company of new friends. But after a little fight in Gabriel's bar the brothers have to decide if they need to leave or stay.

Hello! So this is a story about the ironic couple Mchanzo (McCree x Hanzo) from Overwatch. This takes us between the present and the past of mainly McCree and sometimes Hanzo. McCree hasn't seen Hanzo in a long time and is confused when he sees him out of nowhere. The two seem to have a happy past so is it possible to have a future? Break the wall between past, present (and maybe future) to find out how McCree figure his feelings are a lot bigger then he thought. Then watch Hanzo slowly show his feelings towards the Cowboy.
