effervescent/ˌefərˈves(ə)nt/ -(adj.) 1. (of a liquid) giving off bubbles; fizzly. 2. vivacious and enthusiastic. "on one level, life is effervescent and active. on another, it is absolutely still. the inner stillness nourishes the outer activity." -jaggi vasudev (sadhguru) - in which a libero from aoba johsai moves to karasuno and finds a boy that shines like the sun. - NOTE! although this is primarily a nishinoya x reader, i will also be including headcanons and potentially one-shots that are not connected to the story whatsoever, so if you're not a big fan of this literal ball of sunshine (which i cannot even begin to comprehend HOW) then you'll have other things to look forward to as well!

When Karasuno's Volleyball Club began to show new-found potential, Takeda Sensei made a surprising call. A tutor would be issued to the team in order to maximize their time practicing; if they didn't have to keep making up exams or re-doing homework assignments, they would have time to spare for extra practice, right? For a majority of the team, this was the case. But for a setter with no communication skills and a short middle-blocker, meeting this shy tutor also meant... spending time filling out online love tests? [complete] *Kageyama&OC

She was so different from him. While she was shy and had difficulties speaking her thoughts, he was as outspoken as ever. He was so different from her. When he talked, his voice could be carried throughout the whole school. When she talked, her voice could barely be heard. They were so different from each other, but maybe that's why they were attracted to each other. (Cover credits to @Rozero-San)

[Name] is a member of the Karasuno's Girls' Volleyballs team. Just like Hinata and many other volleyball players, she is passionate about volleyball and her adrenaline rushes when she touches the ball. She's in the same class as Hinata and is close to both Hinata and Kageyama. In a mixed practice with the boys' volleyball team, [Name] is introduced to all of their members and she liked all of them, expect for just one guy. Tsukishima Kei. He irritated her. From his short blonde hair and thick black framed glasses to his tall and athletic figure. His mean and narcissistic personality was what ticked her off most of the time. She tries not to cross paths with him as much as she can and he isn't a fan of her as well. They both have mutual feelings of dislike for each other. [Name] also has a well-kept secret that has been creeping inside of her. An athlete's nightmare. Unfortunately for her, things got worse when Tsukishima was the first to find out about it.
