At first glance, nobody would be able to tell that Nathaniel Jean had a problem. Or second glance, or third, or fourth. After all, he had everything. He was a captain of his school's soccer team and one of the top players in the state. He had a big house and money to spend. He had family, he had friends, he had fun, he had faith. He never meant for it to happen. He never wanted to look at another man in the way he should have been looking at a woman. The idea had disgusted him for most of his life - living in a heavily Catholic town with heavily Catholic parents, homophobia was the only response he knew. That didn't change when he first realized that he didn't like girls. No, Nathaniel Jean was still homophobic. He hated the idea of a man sleeping with another man. He was raised on the notion that all gays went to hell, and he believed it. He despised them, and so he despised himself. Nathaniel Jean was more fortunate than most, because help did arrive for him. Help by the name of Lucas Morgan, they boy he'd always known but never known. The boy with big dreams and bigger talent. The boy that changed Nathaniel's life over the course of their thirty-six week long senior year.

It has been over a year since the murder of his wife, Lily, and James Potter wishes every day that it is simply a nightmare that he will wake up from. Unfortunately, it isn't and in the wake of her death, James finds himself as a single parent to their son, Harry. The Boy-Who-Lived is known all around the wizarding world as the one to defeat Lord Voldemort on the same night that Lily was killed as the proclaimed "Dark Lord" attempted to rid of the child as well, yet failed. However, James is just trying to do his best in raising Harry in the most normal fashion as he can possibly muster but it's not easy. With one of his former best friends in Azkaban for the betrayal to the Order and his two remaining best friends not on speaking terms, James finds himself drowning in stress. Yet, relief comes in the form of a young woman, named Renata, and their first encounter is nothing short of a chaotic mess. But at the same time, it's the first thing that's made James laugh in months.

❝I'm afraid I'm about as cool as a rubber duck...❞ ❝ So ridiculously cool then?❞ ▬▬▬▬ Quinton Granger was very much like his younger sister, Hermione Jean Granger, well known for his studious nature among peers. However, there was a significant difference between the two, unlike Hermione, Quinton didn't possess magic. He was a muggle. Arthur Weasley has always been fascinated by muggles and their lifestyle, so when he meets Quinton one year as the older brother drops Hermione off at King's Cross, the two strike up a conversation about the function of a rubber duck. The two became fast friends and Quinton becomes a regular at the Burrow whenever his sister is invited over. Ginny is trying to come to terms with her feelings over the Boy-Who-Lived, who doesn't pay her any sort of mind outside of being Ron's little sister. Hermione gives her the advice not to pine over Harry, that she should look at other boys, although when Hermione suggested it, she wasn't exactly suggesting her older brother. It started off as letters between the two while Ginny is at school and becomes something each time the two see each other again. It was a common misconception that pureblooded children such as the Malfoys were bred from a family that was based solely on hatred. However, that was the farthest from the truth as the eldest of the Malfoy family, Saros, had grown up in a household surrounded by the warmth and love of his parents. He grew up spoiled, holding a sense of entitlement since the time he was young because his parents told him and his little brother, Draco, that they deserved the world. His parents had given Saros no reason not to believe and trust in their word, they gave him no reason for him not to love them, which made the internal battle turn into an all-out war when it came to choosing what side was right and which one was wrong. Saros learns that good and evil is not so black and white when living in a grey world. He will do anything to protect his family, even if it means making the wrong decisions in their eyes. Normally, Angelina Johnson wouldn't even bother with the likes of Saros Malfoy, after all, she has her own life to tend to and she knows the type of person that he is. Spoiled and entitled don't interest the girl, however, there is a moment, where she is a witness to something beyond the typical Malfoy air, a time where Saros shows that he is human and maybe Angelina's got it all wrong about the boy.

[Book One: Brotherhood Series] There was no mystery to Milo Fleamont Potter, even if he was not the Boy-Who-Lived. He was the boy-who-survived. He was the boy that lost his parents and in many ways, lost his brother the same night that Voldemort attacked the Potter household. He was not graced with a scar, he did not bore a striking resemblance to his parents, but he held their stride and their attitude, even at a young age. A prophecy was not thrust upon him, but he had his own destiny to fulfill. [Cover by -voidlegends ]

"I didn't know you had friends like Isaac," Willa said in greeting. "I don't," muttered Jared. Isaac rolled his eyes. "Yeah, you don't. You have //one// friend like Isaac." His voice turned into this stupid mock whisper and he leaned towards Jared conspiratorially. "It's me, by the way."
