Takes place after Rebooted. Due to a misunderstanding, Jay believes that Nya has chosen Cole and leaves the team. While the others are unsuccessfully trying to find him, a heartbroken Nya finds out she's pregnant with her ex-boyfriend's child (which kinda explains her messed-up emotions, irrational behaviour, and sudden dislike for pudding in season 3 😉). Six years later, Jay has left his Ninja life behind and is (more or less) happily working as a primary school teacher - which is where he meets an interesting little girl with lightning powers. On the Day of the Departed, 16-year old Nya Smith befriends a strange but fascinating boy who doesn't really fit into modern day Ignacia. But as she soon finds out it's not a case of him being out of place there - but rather out of his time... This takes the same characters from Ninjago: Generations, except the kids are older and they have to deal with school and all the problems that come with it. Bullies, relationships, getting good grades, and the rest of the challenges that come with being in elementary school.
