{ En réécriture } Dans un futur plus ou moins proche, le monde est dirigé par le grand gouverneur Charles Irons. Suite au renversement des pays s'est instauré un mode de vie unique où une seule entreprise existe : "WorldCenter". Celle-ci contrôle tout : eau, électricité, éducation des enfants, absolument tout. Un jour, les centrales électriques WorldCenter de tous les continents ont simultanément explosé, éradiquant presque la totalité de la population. Comment de "simples" explosions auraient-elle pu engendrer de tels résultats ? Car outre les morts, il y a aussi les rares survivants, désormais dotés de facultés pour le moins ... spéciales... Et si la vérité cachait un mensonge bien plus sombre ? Et si la bêtise humaine n'avait aucune limite, quitte à s'éliminer elle-même pour arriver à ses fins ?
