This story is based after the last time when Atem and Yugi last saw one another. The last time was many years ago after the battle with Diva. Will things fall in place? Will Atem finally get to tell Yugi how he feels? What kind of things will Atem have to go through to get to Yugi? Also what has been going on with Yugi over the last few years?

It's been 2 years since the Ceremonial Duel between Yami/Atem and Yugi. Yugi still hasn't gotten over that Yami has left for the afterlife and hasn't done a whole lot since. When the story of Yugi's father becomes clearer, can he handle who he truly is or will he fall into a pit of despair and loneliness. After all what if Yami's departure wasn't a goodbye, but merely until next time I see you. YamiXYami/Atem eventually but not right away. I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh or it's characters. Just the plot. Might turn into multiple books.

As the pharaoh's spirit is finally at peace, young Yugi is incomplete. His heart is fragments of what it once was and no matter how hard he tries, the pieces just won't fit back together. However the mysterious Shadi returns and tells Yugi of a duel taking place in the spirit world. The winner gets to return to the real world. In order to stop yami Bakura from returning and taking over the world with the power of the millennium items, the pharaoh must win the duel. That means he will be stuck in real world forever, but is that so bad when you have your other half beside you?
