In Elemental magic you can be one of four magic types; water, fire, earth, and air. The only problem is Violet is none of these things. Is she what they call a magic dud, or is she something rarer, more powerful, and more dangerous than anyone could have imagined!? Teasers, "Em, most girls sneak out for a boy, you sneak out for a unicorn." I began to cry as it reached for my face."No!" I screamed. "Please No!" I went to pull back the shower curtain, but some nagging thought in the back of my head stopped me. I didn't have a little brother, so why was there a little boy in my bathroom? I gulped and with shaking hands pulled back the shower curtain. "What!? How could that be!?" I yelled, and covered my hand with my mouth. Shouting wasn't such a good idea right at this moment. If someone heard us and came up here to investigate the noise we were making, they would find a boy and a girl, a bloody knife with both their finger prints on it, and a very very dead body. "Don't touch her!" he hissed and lunged at Henry. Running through the night wearing nothing but a flimsy hospital dress, while waving a dismembered hand in his hand, was a strangeness no regular person could hope to inspire to.

When a night of fun leads to being thrust into a reality deemed mythical, Kaitlyn has no choice but to buckle up and enjoy the ride, especially when a man claims to be the father of the child she's carrying. *** Imagine waking up abandoned in a hotel bedroom, the smell of sex loitering the air and bare as the day you were born. No remembrance of the previous night while sporting two small mysterious holes on the side of your neck, a lingering ache distinguishing between your legs. That's how things transpired for Kaitlyn one morning; soreness and exhaustion littering her bones as evidence of her previous affairs. Time flies in the shape of a few weeks and Kaitlyn starts to feel odd. Constant vomiting, sleeping more than usual, sore feet, a drop in appetite - you name it. The first thought that arises is she may have caught a stomach flu. What she couldn't fathom was another being taking place within her womb, developing with each worrying second. This definitely wasn't a planned pregnancy. She's faced with many things exceeding the knowledge of the made-up folklore that mankind has developed over time. Thrown into a world where fictitious creatures reside, how does Kaitlyn cope with the thought of her pregnancy and the fact the man she's tangled in the sheets with is much more than a reckless fling? 🖤The completed version is now available on Inkitt🖤 (link in bio) Highest ranking: #1 in Paranormal First book in Angels, Gods & Demons series ** All my life, I've been thinking about the same thing...That because of who I was, I was destined to be alone forever... But who would've thought, that I was actually destined to be bound to Death himself? "His fingers went under my chin, coaxing me to look back up at him and as soon as I did, my heart started racing again, noticing the way his haunting eyes were now trained on my lips as he huskily said those two words again, "Forgive me." And before I could utter a single word, his soft, plump lips crashed against mine in a chaste, yet passionate kiss, sending warm tingles all over my body, making my heart almost jump out of my chest as we stayed like that for a few moments, before he suddenly pulled back, staring at me a little shocked, only now realizing what he had just done, then turned around and quickly walked away, leaving me standing there, speechless." **

Now bound by law, they struggle with feelings of hate in what they think is a loveless marriage, both holding deep, dark secrets, capable of ruining everything. Those very secrets and differences, however, could be what brings these two together in ❧ "Just because we're legally bound together, doesn't mean I love you." He leaned down, spitting out the next words menacingly. "And I never will." I tried to hold back the tears as his amber eyes blazed with anger. "O-okay." "Now, stay out of my fucking personal life or I won't hesitate to ruin yours." As he left, I broke down. The truth was, I never thought that someone could hate me so much that they'd look at me like they wanted to kill me. Especially not if that someone was supposed to be my husband. ❧ Credit to @IamSumayya for making this absolutely gorgeous cover! Thank you so much for taking your time to make it! ❤️ PS. The world had gone to hell long ago, taken over by the vampire race. In order to keep some sort of peace in our land, the Vampire Lords made a consecutive agreement. The rich and powerful humans could survive just as they had been, untouched by the vampires save for the occasional blood collections, or so they thought In reality, we were all under their control. Castles spread out throughout our land, one landing in each city. Each castle varied in the number of vampires residing there, but all of them carried a Lord. The Lords were the ones in charge in every city, whether we liked it or not. The vampires often roam through the city, making sure that everyone was in order and no one stepped out of line. If you stepped out of line, you died, end of story. Even if the rich were still under their control, their lives were still better than the poor. The poorest lives held a much worse fate. The men were to be put to work as slaves, whether that meant serving a specific vampire, or just building their castles, they were slaves. The women were to be pets. Pets were the lowest rank you could have. They were forced into cages that were too small to stand in with collars around their necks. They spent their lives in pet shops, just waiting for the dreadful day that they'll be bought. They were treated like animals, trained into what their master wanted, and punished if they misbehaved. Those who were lucky enough to live through that, we're to be slaughtered for their blood at age twenty-five in an act to make sure that our population would stay steady. I was born into this world. Born into this world full of blood-sucking monsters. Except, I was one of the lucky ones. Was. It all ended for me when I was 12, when I was taken away from the last bit of hope and family that I had left. Ever since then, I've lived in a cage, just rotting away, waiting, dreading for the day that some monster would make me his. This is my life. I am a pet. ~~~ Cover by: @mshacake
