"This is madness!" He says, "You pretending to be your brother is just complete and utter madness! What if you get caught? And what will happen when Alan comes back and everyone notices that he doesn't have the Thorns?" I stifle a cough and I pass my hand across my lips. When I pull it away, it is smeared red. "I don't want to die." I mutter, staring at the blood. A sigh escapes Eric and I feel the mattress dip as he sits beside me. "You won't." My hand drops lifelessly onto my lap, like a puppet whose strings have been cut. "I made a promise and I won't let you die, whether you're Alan or Sophia." A black butler/kuroshitsuji fanfiction

Have you ever doubted your morals? I don't mean questioning if what you are doing is right, it's bigger then that. I mean questioning if you overall are good. Or are you evil? Are you destined to be evil and ruthless? Is there no hope for you? Of course, when I say you I mean me. I'm questioning my morals. And in that questioning I've made a decision. It's time to break free. It's time to break free of all the hatred, the twisted darkness, and the pain of my past. It's time to break free of the suffocating horror of the Tunnel Kingdom. And to do that I need my Dragonstone. The problem will be geeting it, keeping it, and... surviving the war I accidentally create in the process. So let's proceed with this horrible thing called my life, let me now ruin your peaceful sleep with the nightmare that is my story. There is no going back.

My name is Goldylocs and I've made a horrible mistake. Treason, actually. I should be dead. I guess the King went easy on me because I'm his daughter. Well.... I guess it's not really going easy on me. But I did commit treason more than once. And it's the worst type of treason. The bear type. My father hates bears, ever since one bite off half his face. I guess don't blame him for his hatred towards bears, but selling your daughter into slavery, and in a different country no less, is a bit harsh. My first act of treason was when I was eight. I said to my nursemaid, "Don't you think it's wrong that all the bears are dying?" But I didn't get punished for that one, merely corrected. My second act of treason was when I was eleven. I had saved a bear cub from hunters. That one I did get punished for. But my worst act of treason was when I married a bear at age eighteen. In my defense, he's not a real bear... and I guess we technically aren't married seeing as my father's soldiers crashed the wedding halfway through. Well, this is my story. It's a tad complicated and in some parts might seem familiar. I hear that the bards told a story based on me, based because they changed it a lot. But I believe they spelled my name Goldilocks.

A haunting voice cuts through the balmy air, rising and lowering in a cascade of sound. The waves are rolling, high but never cresting as a warning to the upcoming storm. Men toss and turn in their bunks while others eye the water with a mixture of fear and attraction. The voice is faint, seemingly far away. One last note is sounded before the noise is cut off completely. The night is now filled with silence. An eerie, creepy silence that causes reeking fear to drip from the pores of the sailors. Then lightening forks down, lighting up the sky and illuminating the rocky waterline. A wave slashes up against the rocks and leaves in it's wake a humanoid outline. Humanoid, but not human. The creature's hair lashes about in the wind and it's curved shape can be seen in the moonlight. A long, scaled tail curls up next to it on the rock as it lifts it's body upwards, much like the pose of a striking cobra. And then the singing starts. It's horrific how beautiful it is, causing glassy eyed saliors to abandon their posts and tread zombielike towards the rail. For that is the song of the siren. The beautiful, haunting, mind taking song of death.
