Levi is Prince of the Ocean. He rules beside his mother, Queen Kuchel. From the day he turned 16 years-old, she has been trying to find him a suitable suitor. Levi is determined to find a mermaid who can heal his leg, as mermaid's tears are rumored to heal any wound. When Eren gets captured by Levi and his crew, he refuses to give Levi a tear until he earns it. Levi tries hard to earn Eren's tear, and the two grow closer. Liked this story? If comments seem a bit out of place, it's because I gave this book a heavy (well needed) edit! Eren was the eldest boy at the orphanage, mostly sticking to himself his whole life and just spending his time doing school work, looking after small children, and getting bullied. He couldn't remember the last time he felt much happiness, and he dealt with the pain with almost daily cutting. As life went on he felt closer and closer to just ending it.. but then he meets Levi. Levi, the star pupil, academically, comes to his aid and starts to protect him. He's a bit forward, but Eren likes him, and Levi likes him back. Things lead to one another and slowly Eren is realising more about his past and Levi won't stop asking questions. Will Eren tell him what he knows or will he end it before Levi can find out? What happens when he realises his life is a lie?

(If you haven't read Hold Me it's highly recommended! But this can be read without doing so) Some years on, Eren and Levi now live together, married, with a young girl. Levi goes out to work daily, Eren working part time. But when faces of the past decide to show up, Eren learns something that makes the whole world hate him. Things lead to another, is Eren going to survive long enough to see his girl again?
