Kelsey Rogers lives and breathes ice hockey. She grew up with a father and brother who both played, and from them she gained a fierce passion for the sport. When her father’s company relocates him, Kelsey must leave her team behind, only to find out that there is no girls’ team where she now lives. Instead of giving up on the sport she loves, Kelsey fights her way onto the local boys’ travel team. However, the difficulty doesn’t stop there. Kelsey has to deal with boys telling her she plays a boys’ sport and that she isn’t as good because of being a girl. Kelsey isn’t one to back down from a challenge, so instead of quitting, she vows to prove that a girl can play ice hockey. Enter Dane Young. He’s the captain of Kelsey’s new team, and one of the major reasons she made it. Despite that, though, Dane is probably harder on her than the team’s coach. To Kelsey, it’s as if he wants to see her fail. Kelsey is determined not to let that happen.

Years before his birth, it was prophesised that his soul would never be whole, that his heart would never beat in rhythm to his other half. Micajah was born with a dark soul, a soul that was corrupt. A soul that was more wolf than human. A soul incomplete. Nothing but an imperfect creation that walks earth. He will never have a true mate. When his turn to rule the wolf kingdom arises, after the death of his mother, he is forced to choose a female that has already been rejected from her true mate. Alongside his rise to the throne, the wolf kingdom begins to tear itself apart. An uprising begins. No one wants a creature, hated by the Moon Goddess herself, to rule. Even if he is the only royal heir by blood. Even if it is what tradition dictates. A male more beast than man, can never yield humanity, let alone love. But humanity can be learnt, and love seizes all - even those with corrupt souls.

Book #1 in The Bonds of Fate Series "Excuse me sirs, but I think one of you dropped something." She spoke, her eyes not entirely fixed on them. Her voice was angelic, he already loved it. He found himself thinking that he would be content to listen to the sound for the rest of his life. "Thank you, beautiful." The Alpha responded quickly, motioning to one of his pack members to pick it up. "You have very good hearing." "Well, I guess it's compensation" She chuckled slightly, "I mean, these don't do me any good." She gestured towards her eyes, turning more towards where the sound of his voice had originated from. "I hadn't noticed that you were..." He trailed off. Though surprised, his desire and need for his mate never decreased. "Blind?" *** For Leora Kotas, life in Willsden Brooke was a continuous cycle.
