"Rule number one," He whispers, pulling back to look me right in the eye, "Never let your guard down." He flashes me a cunning smirk as I stare at him, stunned at what he had just done. Only, he makes a mistake of turning to see what everyone else ahead of the bleachers is doing. I smirk and take a step back forcefully. Just as he turns his head back to face me, I swing my arm at his face. "No. That's rule two," I snap, "Rule one is never turn your back to your opponent." Faye Williams is not the type of girl who would call for the attention. However, she calls things as she sees them. Faye's not afraid to use her fist, for that's all she's ever known. Some call her a good girl while others call her a rebel. What most people don't know is that she's witnessed things that not many people get to witness. With an unstable mother who blames her for a needed divorce, she's seen, heard, and knows plenty. It's not until she moves to Miami, Florida with her dad, that trouble arises. Let's just say that the odds are not in her favor, especially when it comes to that notorious 'bad kid' Travis. Yet, for some reason, she feels that fixing the bad boy will mend herself. When a powerful gang leader, a notorious bad boy, vengeful mother, and two faced acquaintances enter the equation, Faye knows there's nothing to save her now. *Copyright © 2013* All rights reserved.

At that my eyes snapped open, and there he was. The British exchanged student Emily was telling me about, and let me tell you she wasn’t exaggerating. He’s gorgeous in a way that no one should be allowed. His dark blue polo shirt hugged his body in the most delicious way possible and the dark washed out jeans were hanging dangerously low on his hips. A head of messy, short, ink black hair; the kind of hair that makes people want to run their hand through it. Huge, baby blue eyes, with lashes so long that girls would kill for; that I would kill for. But I don’t have time to debate on the unfairness of him having gorgeous long lashes because those beautiful blue eyes scan across the room and then land on me, suddenly making me regret waking up so late. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ When you go to bed what do you wish to dream about? Do you want to dream about a vacation in Hawaii or getting hot and heavy with your celebrity crush? Do you want to ride a unicorn or your wedding day? Normal people wish for happy dreams; Julie wishes that she just didn't dream. Lately every dream that Julie has had ranged from makes-me-want-to-puke disturbing to if-that-dream-was-real-I'd-be-in-the-morgue. All these dreams make her question her sanity all while trying to keep up a normal facade of normality for her family. Do these dreams have any significance or are they her one way ticket to the nut house?

So when Austin von Thalberg starts trying to talk with her, her first reaction is to run the other way. But the boy is persistent, and he's also a nerdfighter-the only two things Dallas can hardly fight against. And as their friendship develops, Dallas starts to realize that maybe living only on her computer in her cybernetic world might not be as fun as the life she can have with Austin and his friends.
