Everything had been so..perfect. So jolly...Until the effect of joy had stopped working for you. With your memories finally getting back to you, and the cheerful smile adorning your face slipping, you had quickly been discovered and labeled as a downer. Those who you considered close friends chased you out of town, mad with the idea that someone would dare ruin their happy lives. That had been maybe a couple weeks ago... While it ached very much to think that you may never be able to get back home, it was best not to dwell on that sort of thing as you didn't want to end up like everyone else in the Garden District. You adjusted as well as anyone that had just losted everything could and busied youself with the new task of survival, distracting yourself with scavenging and small tasks from the wastrels. This became the new normal for you.. Until a new face appeared in the Garden District, that is. CAUTION: This story may cause flashbacks, small memory triggers, unbearable amounts of sadness, and the risk of becoming a downer. However, popping a joy should clear that right up!

"Women don't belong in war" was something Margot Kessler and Antonia Winslow heard day in and day out, but never once did they let those words deter them from serving their country alongside the men. They were unbelievably strong and skilled beyond any shadow of a doubt; they were the sisters in a band of brothers.

Beatles fan fiction. "Never in my mind have I doubted how I feel for George. I've loved him for so long I can't remember when I didn't. I can't remember the moment I fell in love with him. I just always have loved him... But sometimes, love isn't enough." When Hannah and her sister, Minnie meet the members of a rock and roll group, their lives change. Hannah quickly falls for the young guitarist, George, but things aren't as simple as they appear. Hannah and Minnie have to leave Liverpool, they have to run away from home, but leaving George behind seems unthinkable. Before Hannah and Minnie can put their plan into action, the Silver Beatles get a gig in Germany - a three month engagement in Hamburg. Using the opportunity to 'visit' the boys in Hamburg, Hannah and Minnie finally escape Liverpool all together but when it transpires George will have to go home early, Hannah can't go home with him. And she can't explain why. Saying goodbye to George breaks Hannah's heart. She and Minnie leave Germany and Hannah doesn't think she'll ever see her first love again, but fate and destiny has other plans for The Beatles, and for Hannah and George as well. This story is really six stories in one. Each part could be read as it's own separate story, or read all parts together to experience the very up and down relationship between Hannah and George, through Beatlemania and beyond. Beatles fan fiction. Della Milton and George Harrison lived on opposite sides of Upton Green, Speke, Liverpool, in the 1950s. Born three weeks apart they soon became childhood best friends. George grows up and becomes lead guitarist in the phenomena that is The Beatles. It takes him far and away from that small oval green in Liverpool and gives him experience and opportunities he could never have imagined. But Della's not concerned about George's fame and fortune. He'll always be her friend, her confidant and her rock. He's as close to her as family. Sometimes she thinks he's the only one in the world she can call a friend. He'll always be the same, he'll always be there for her... won't he? Beatle: George Genre: Romance Warnings: Bad language, explicit adult situations, loads of angst, sex and rock & roll.
