My eyes were literally glowing, there was no mistaking it. It was not a reflection of light, or any of the other excuses I had used or others had assumed. They were glowing a light sapphire blue color. It was not a bright glow, but it was definitely a glow. Glowing eyes were not normal. Okay, at this point I had to admit it, I was no longer normal. What was I then? For that, I had no answer [[Word count: 495,000]] Copyright August 2016. All Rights Reserved. Readers may not copy, alter, or steal this story. "I don't have enough money or power right now, but I will definitely find a way to bring them all to their knees! I'll make them all beg!" She hissed, shaking with anger and frustration. "I will do everything, anything... to make them all regret... even if I have to sell my soul to the devil!" She said with determination flashing in her beautiful eyes. The man smirked. He lifted his fingers and tucked some errant strands of her slightly mussed up hair behind her ear. "Be careful what you wish for, Miss. A certain devil here might really fulfil your wish and claim your soul in exchange." "If that devil is really here, do introduce him to me, handsome. I would like to make a deal with him." Eva drawled out, smirking back at him.

[Book 1] Crawlers: once normal people like you or me. They had hobbies, families, friends, interests, but now they are feral monsters. The infection spread, wiping out almost half the human race, and leaving the rest as either Crawlers or Survivors. The infected's eyes will black out, before giant, black, bug-like legs will rip out of their back, giving them a newfound speed and agility, as well as an insatiable bloodlust. Body fluids entering any open wound, including the eyes, mouth, and nose, will seal the person's fate; they are now infected. It won't be long before they start screeching at the moon in a mock howl. The problem is, I am infected. I turned but retained most of my humanity. With my new lifestyle in a new world, I can't expect anything or anyone to act as I predict. My biggest question is, can I save my humanity? Or will I simply become part of the mindless feral swarm?

[Book 3] People say things can change drastically in just a couple years. I couldn't agree more. In just a few years I went from a regular kid in high school, to Ruler of a zombie species. Of course for everyone else, it was much more than a few years, it was three hundred to be precise. Once the Crawlers wiped themselves out all that long ago, we thought it was over, that Humans would regain control of the planet and things would soon go back to normal. We were wrong. After another man tried to wipe out the human race, it was made apparent that even the original Crawlers may not have died out. They're more illusive than their ancestors, it is unclear whether this entails their danger or not.

[Book 2] "The only ways to kill a Crawler are to sever the head or remove the heart. If any muscle remains in the body, the heart will regrow. If the head is touching the neck at all, it will fuse back." I've died several times in my life. Being shot in the head by my best friend, being dismembered and mutilated by another, and being beheaded by the Crawler king. I wasn't supposed to come back this time, but fate has some plans for me. I had always wondered what the future would look like, but I didn't think I would ever see. A new chapter is being written in my story, and no one else knows.
