#75 - strangers 15/11/18 Thorns of my past embedded in my soul and on my body. I could no longer remember who I was and my identity was mistaken. They said I was Alissa Merchant, a Brown University Graduate and a wife to Mr. Role Baxton. The pictures of us were everywhere depicting the kind of life with white picket fence and plush green oak tree backyard. The house where I lived with him, he proclaimed, was brimmed with jewels and joy. He confessed me on the hospital bed that he missed me and loved me with a glint in his brown eyes, staring at Alissa which made my body squirm, warning me something was wrong. Something was definitely wrong because I didn't feel like Alissa Merchant at all. Cover design: @glass_sword
