What if when Rue was reaped someone volunteered for the young girl? Rue's 16 year old adopted sister did. Her parents were traitors to the capital so as a punishment they stole their beautiful and only child and left her in a place they could never look for her...District 11. There Rue's parents took pity on the young child and raised her as their own. Though she knew she wasn't their child as she was very very different from everyone in the district with her red curls, sky blue eyes and pale skin. She was District 11's darling as she was so kind and gentle and had many boys falling at her feet though she was to oblivious to notice but she would do anything for her adopted siblings...even DIE for them. She volunteers when Rue's name is called and ends up winning only for her sister to die a year later in the 74th hunger games.
