New to New York City, the quirky artist, Camila Cabello finds out what it really means to shed light on someone. Especially when that someone is notorious blind girl, Lauren Jauregui. She's a mystery upon herself, and Camila is determined to break the mystery and hear her story. But she might do more than just that. Also, the cover for my story isn't mine. It's done by the amazing bows-n-beanies on tumblr. :)

FIRST BOOK IN THE YELLOW SERIES Lauren Jauregui hated Camila Cabello, plain and simple. Of course, who could blame her? Camila had been the one who read Lauren's private texts in front of the whole cafeteria, forcing her out of the closet. Lauren left for New York with her three best friends the day she graduated, thinking she had escaped Camila. The only problem is, Camila is back. And different. Completely different. Not the kind of 'different' you'd expect, either. Lauren Jauregui is a lot of things. She's caring, she's intelligent and she's beautiful. But Camila Cabello doesn't notice those things when she and Lauren first come into contact. Camila notices her nervous ticks, and how she refuses to look at her, and how she never furthers conversation. At first, Camila takes that the wrong way, and deciding that Lauren is nothing more than a rude girl who happens to have the same friends as her, eventually stops trying to make friends. It isn't long before Camila realises she's been wrong the whole time. (This work may not be posted/copied/reproduced/translated without explicit permission from the author.)

(I'VE BEEN EDITING THIS AND SO FAR, I'VE ONLY DONE THE FIRST 4 CHAPTERS) Lauren Jauregui is the epitome of independence. She could do whatever she wanted without seeking for help. She has a family by her side, a boyfriend who spoils her and just enough friends to feel social. Because of her mother's job, Lauren was forced to move several times in last four years of her life which made any form of attachment nearly impossible. Now, at 18, she was back to her hometown. Despite the strong and responsible girl everyone else sees, the green-eyed brunette never believed anybody who ever said she was beautiful, let alone perfect. In fact, she never thought anyone was perfect. That was until she met an equally independent and self-reliant, Camila Cabello who had hidden insecurities of her own. PS: The cover is credits to my bae, my main squeeze, my lady love, my future wife (HAHAHAHAHAHA), @meerkat93. She might make something for your stories if you ask nicely. Haha Thanks again, babe. :p

The circus was stupid and a total con act. That was something Camila felt strongly about. Camila Cabello did not believe in things like magic and wonder and fantasy...it simply did not exist and there was no arguing about it. Now, after being forced by her mother to go and spend time with her little sister, Sofi, she has to go to the circus that's in town for the next 10 days. And perhaps, the illusion will not be stupid. And perhaps, the illusion will not be an illusion. This amazing cover was done by SLOTHTATO, she made an absolutely amazing cover and this wouldn't even have been posted if it wasn't for her so thank her lots!
