Many of them have scattered and vanished with their own agendas. Lexi and Tony Stark, Peter Parker, Wanda Maximoff, and Vision are the only ones left in New York, stuck trying to piece their lives back together. Lexi in particular is struggling, and Tony decides the best way to help her is to give her a world outside Avengers Tower. She's enrolled at Midtown High, Peter's school, where she makes several new friends, hobbies, and memories. But then, just when everything is great, two new threats arise. One is devices made with tech stolen from the aftermath of Avengers' battles. These devices are dangerous, but Tony refuses to do anything, so Lexi and Peter decide to take matters into their own hands, and team up to take the alien weapon manufacturers down. The other threat is a girl on Midtown's Academic Decathlon team, one who has had a rivalry with Lexi since the day they met, but yet one whom Peter is extremely affectionate towards. On the surface, the two threats are as separate as the worlds Lexi and Peter are straddling. But as each threat launches attacks, they brush up against each other more and more often, until finally, they collide on one memorable night. ★★★★★★ Contains scenes from Spider-Man: Homecoming and Ant-Man. I don't own Marvel or any of their characters or plots. I only own the character Lexi Stark, as well as some side characters and parts of the plot. All other rights go to Marvel Studios. The Avengers thought she sacrificed her life to defeat Ultron. Turns out, they were all wrong. But just because Lexi is alive doesn't mean everything is fixed. Not only does she have to deal with the mysterious side effects of a vibranium blast, but she has to do it while the world of the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. is being ripped into pieces. Steve Rogers thought Bucky Barnes died during World War II. S.H.I.E.L.D. thought the Winter Soldier was just another HYDRA assassin. Turns out, they were all wrong. But just because Bucky is alive doesn't mean everything is fixed. Not only does Steve have to deal with his best friend being the most infamous HYDRA killer in history, but he has to do it while that killer's history is shredding the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. into pieces. Tony Stark thought his parents died in a car accident. The Avengers thought they weren't just a team - they were a family. Turns out, they could all be wrong.... ★★★★★★ Contains scenes from Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War. I don't own Marvel or any of their characters or plots. The Winter Springs Police Department announces that another dead girl has been found in their small town, murdered in the same way as the last three victims. A serial killer is stalking the petrified community. Tyler Dawkins isn't concerned about his safety, but he is concerned for the young woman he runs into at the bus stop an hour outside of Winter Springs. A self-proclaimed true crime podcaster, the woman is unprepared with no plan on how to get into town. Tyler offers her a ride with him and his friend. She accepts. The two friends and the stranger hit the road. Darkness is falling, there's a murderer on the loose, and every person in the car has a secret-a secret worth killing for. Trigger warning: This story is going to dive into the complicated subjects of violence against women (especially domestic violence) and the criminal justice system. There isn't any explicit violence in this story, but please take care of yourself if you know these might be triggering topics.

The gods have no pity for humans and their impermanence. Why would they care for lives measured in years, when time marches into millennia for them? The immortals stay in their city. The humans remain in their parts of the world. That is until a human terrorist group gains control over the Goddess of Death, forcing her to kill their enemies and increase their power. All immortals keep their backs turned on humanity. Except Samil, the God of Festivals and the Arts. Samil knows he isn't very powerful among his kind. Or important. Or confident. Yet, when he learns that the humans are desperate, he chooses to do a deceptively simple thing: Help them. ___________________________________ @Voyageavecmoi was kind enough to write this review of my book and she described it 100x better than I ever could lol. With her permission, I'm posting it below. Also, check out her book "Flight Risk." It's a sweet and deep romance about two characters negotiating their feelings for each other while life is doing everything to tear them apart. The characters have such mature conversations and, there's no reliance on the miscommunication trope at all. I'm *obsessed.* If you enjoy intriguing fantasy novels with deep and thoughtful themes, check out 'The Gifts of Mortality' by @eleanorkennedy14 . It explores the concept of mortality and how it gives life meaning through the eyes of both gods and humans. The story follows Samil, the god of the Festivals and the Arts, who is shocked by the apathy of his fellow gods when a human terrorist group gains control over the Goddess of Death. Despite finding no support among his kind, he's determined to help the humans, which sets him down an interesting course. There are lots of great twists in this novel, and I also loved seeing how queerness was worked in throughout both the immortal and mortal realms. Samil is a sweet and refreshing character to root for who is determined to see the good in the world.

The Stewarts have always been a very proud family. Their notorious legacy of strong leadership has allowed the Stewart name to remain on the throne for generations. King Aleksander always demands perfection, and unfortunately for one son, he is the exact opposite of his father's expectations. Being alienated by his family, avoided in high society, and losing his mother to illness has led Aryn Stewart down a very dark path. But perhaps something, or someone, will be holding a candle in the night.
