Not even his parents had this ability, it just happened randomly without any sort of warning. Each one of the strings was leading to a possible soulmate, but if they were to find their true soulmate, the other strings faded away. Unfortunately, Bakugou was not as lucky as others, he didn't have any strings. Of course, non of that mattered to him anyways, since it was always his goal to become the number one hero.
