She mirrored his scrutiny and scoffed. "What, and you are?" She gestured to the cairns beyond the trees. "Are you going to protect me as well as you protected them?" Calamity is upon Hyrule. The Goddess Hylia appointed but two children to prevent the end of the world. The powers they were promised don't come easily, and after years of outright failure, Princess Zelda can't help but wonder if Hylia chose wrong. Hyrule is at peace, or so the Royal Family would have its people believe. Something is afoot in the kingdom, and someone needs to do something about it. Least likely would be Marksmen Link Sayre- a mercenary and monster hunter doing his best to get by. Until a job goes wrong, and he gets roped into the secret plans of Hyrule's princess. Now Link must play the part of the Hero to dive deeper into the mystery, and maybe stumble into a legend of his own.

What if, when Zelda and Link were plummeting into the depths together, Link had just managed to grab Zelda's hand? This is that story. Now, both Zelda and Link are stuck in the past, in a world very different from their own, trying to find their way home. Tensions are rising at court as Ganondorf takes power, and Zelda can't deny that she has feelings for her best friend and only tether to the world she once knew. Will they both make it out alive? In this short story, Zelda is on her path to becoming a teacher. Her last hurdle is to be an instructor at a summer camp. The only problem is that she hates summer camp. Zelink AU Medieval Fanfiction Zelda, currently Princess of Hyrule wishes to see the world outside of the castle. Her father expects her to marry one of the chosen suitors to prepare Hyrule's next King, but she doesn't like the sight of any of them. Link is a Hylian knight with a tragic past. Being secretive and closed off is how he prefers to live. He has a quest he believes he must do alone-to find his older sister. But Hyrule is subject to an unknown danger, within itself. How will the mystery unfold and how will Zelda and Link achieve their dreams? I don't think I'm super great at medieval writing...(knowing the time period, vocabulary, descriptions, etc...) but I tried anyways! Sorry for the unappetizing description. A modern AU of Botw! Link just moved in, hoping no one knows him... but he's wrong. He is a popular Sports player. Zelda thinks he is a stuck up know it all but then something happens that changes there relationship forever. Link was a bit of a problem child when he first started school, all he ever knew was the kindness from his best and only friend, so when faced with other nastier people their age, he didn't react too well. Skip forward a couple years and he's improved. Expressing his feelings however didn't come so naturally to him, so he decided to just... Go for it, in an extremely weird way, and just expect her to get it. He wanted to be nice to people, so he just accepted everything and went with what the other person desired. This was going well until he got himself in a rather sticky situation. (All of these characters are owned by Nintendo)
