He has beaten every single trainer that has come to challenge him therefore being given the nickname "The Champion Of The Mountain." When the champions from the other regions battle him and invite him to participate in the Tournament Of Legends, he accepts. When he arrives he finds the traitors there as well and he has a nasty revenge plot against them. Look out traitors. Ash is back and he isn't as forgiving as he used to be.
