Everyone feels at peace, well, at least until they start to feel like someone is watching them.

This is an AU where Rachel and Eddie are two kids on their own in the middle of a war. How do they survive without the help of their parental figures? Having just met three months prior to the beginning of this story, they'll have to learn more about each other to survive as a team.

"Are you okay?" A muffled man's voice asked. I lifted my head with as much energy as I could to see who the mysterious man was. When I did, my breathing stopped almost immediately. He looked down at the small, crimson-eyed brunette next to him before he looked back at me. I analyzed him, blinking twice afterward. Purple hair that covered one eye, blue eyes that showed concern, pale skin illuminated by the lights nearby. His green tank top was covered by his tattered coat. I shook my head and forced myself off the floor, using the wall for support. I then looked at the girl next to him. Long, neat brown hair, ruby red eyes that almost never show emotions. Her white dress shirt perfectly flat, her red skirt without a single tear. I looked at their hands and saw their roses. The man's blue and the girl's red. Zack and Ray have been on the run, finally finding a safe place within a city where their identities are safe for the most part. However, they soon run into a certain girl who has lost her memories. On the run as well, she's allowed to stay with them so long as she's useful. It isn't long before she finds herself having to help Zack look for Ray.
