The battle for Lapis's life has ended-or so it seems-and things are back to being semi-normal for her. She is enjoying her life with Peridot and the rest of the pack, but then she starts to notice things. Red eyes watching her from afar, glaring at her, begging for her to come near. Something tells her that the battle isn't over after all. Peridot remains vigilant as she always has, despite Lapis's assurance that it's all over. As confident as she may be, she begins to learn that she does, indeed, have more to learn about her imprint. When things start to appear in Lapis's vision, it doesn't appear to be so safe anymore.
