In nineteenth century London, it's not considered proper for a young lady to send flowers to a healthy, eligible young bachelor. But when Adrian Morey receives a bouquet with a challenge, he can't help but be intrigued. His curiosity only grows as the bloom induced correspondence continues and he finds himself becoming more and more fascinated by his mysterious admirer. Soon he's tearing up the city looking for her, but will his father's plans for his marriage conclude before he finds her? Annabelle Bradford has adored Adrian from afar for years and when she finally finds the nerve to tell him of her feelings, she does it in the most frivolous of ways - with a bouquet! But then, to her surprise, Adrian answers her message with another posy and before she realizes it, they're running a correspondence of petals. But what is all this talk of his betrothal?

WATTPAD ORIGINAL EDITION When her initiation into her college's History Club goes awry, Sol has to come face to face with Ethan-the cute guy whose house she just broke into. ***** Soledad Gutierrez, or Sol to her friends, decides to join the History Club at her Community college. However, this club is not like other clubs: they have an initiation process and a slew of other 'extracurricular activities.' In order to join the club, Sol must break into the oldest house in her small Californian town and steal one of their forks. The club members provide all the materials to break in; she just needs to take the utensil, take a selfie in the kitchen, and get out undetected-with the fork, of course. The problem is: Ethan Winston spots Sol in his grandparent's house, and he's determined to uncover the reason behind the break-in. However, both he and Sol are thrown for a loop when feelings begin to develop between them. And as Ethan becomes suspicious of the History Club, he and Sol get tangled in an adventure none of them were expecting. There's been a monster in the mirror since Ollie was eleven, and he only knows one thing: it despises the color yellow. So, when a truly terrible tragedy involving a spork and a too-long flight of stairs leaves him eyeless, and he's sent down the street to Magdalena's Emporium of the Weird & Wonderful to get a new pair, he knows just what color to choose. But the eyes are more than he bargained for. Ollie starts seeing death in everyone he touches, and the crotchety storekeeper, Susan, holds firm in her No Returns Accepted store policy. Ollie does what any reasonable twenty-something already drowning in insurmountable college debt with no fear of any god (capitalist or otherwise) would do and hires the best lawyer in town to force her hand. Well-versed in the matters of arguing, the lawyer thinks they have a real chance of winning on the grounds that, although these new eyes may be weird, they certainly aren't wonderful. As the legal proceedings develop, Ollie realizes that everyone he knows and loves is destined to die on the same day-a day that's only a matter of weeks away-and he might be the only one who can save them from the unfathomable cosmic entity that's sure to kill them.
