A young justice fanfiction. Robin is pushing himself too far and it is affecting himself and the team. Robin is training way too much and isn't eating right or getting enough sleep and he begins to become a little depressed and falls into self harm.

Failsafe, a seemingly harmless training exercise. That is, till Miss Martin's subconscious accidentally took control of it. Turning it into a traumatic experience, one that not even the Boy Wonder can cope with. Since they woke up, rifts have formed. Most noticeable, was between Robin and everyone. He wasn't close with Megan anymore, cuz she blamed him for Connor and Wally's deaths. Wally cuz he lied to him and supposedly betrayed his trust and misused his role as leader. Kaldur just was disappointed, Connor was just more Stoic, Artemis was her usual self, but Robin distanced himself from her. What will happen when Robin's birthday comes around? What happens when his first and most hated enemy escapes prison? What happened when he gets ignored by his team on a mission and ends up getting gravely injured? What happens when Robin must fight for his life?

Robin/Dick Grayson's birthday is coming up, but will he like what's in store for him. Not what it seems.

Act 1 Dick Grayson has not had an easy life. It all started when his parents died then Bruce Wayne adopted him. After finding out that Bruce Wayne was Batman he became Robin to get revenge on the people who killed his parents and to help stop crime. Life was good for a while. He helped Batman fight crime and soon created his own team with his best friends Wally and Kladur. One night the team was deployed on a mission to rescue a few hostages. Everything was going as planned until the team bumped into some unexpected company. Deathstroke and Bane managed to take down the entire team and kidnap Robin before the team could call for backup. 5 years later Dick comes back with a new friend and is bloodthirsty. He wants revenge against his old mentor who let both Jason and him down. Will Bruce and Dick's friends be able to save him or will they have to take down him down for good. (Editing)

Bruce is furious with him, since Dick won't confess, claiming he didn't kill him. But the greatest detective in the world can tell when his own son his lying.

Barbara lost a boy who she thought she could of loved. They all coped with it in different ways, Jason made bad choices, Damian drifted, Tim and Barbara became close friends. But that was never enough. It never will be. By the end of the day, no matter what they did, Dick was still dead. Well, at least he was to them. When bodies start dropping all over Gotham, each one leaving a message for the mighty Batman, people start asking questions. Maybe Batman isn't capable of protecting Gotham, maybe he's finally met his match. What happens when these bodies start becoming innocent people instead of criminals? What will Batman do then?
