With her mother's diary in hand, Hailey now has more chance of finding her than ever. Her search will lead her on a journey to one of the more obscure places of the kingdom of Aeolus where she will discover creatures she thought were only legends. Meanwhile, she can't forget that the enemy army from the Outlands is closing in on her kingdom, threatening the Winged Nation. Thankfully, her friends are here to help (or make fun of her, depending on the situation). ~Sequel to Secret Wings~ (If you haven't read it, I suggest you do so before reading this one)

My name is Tide. I'd love to say hi and all, but if I tell you my location two very bad things could happen. First, someone who isn't really on my list of favorite people might find the information. Then, they would hunt us down and try to use our powers to take over the world and other maniacal things. Yeah, not so fun. However, I'd like it if people knew how things really happened. You may see things on the news, and they may sound bad, but trust me, this is the real story. Because I'm an Elemental. And somebody needs to set the record straight.* [Action #101] [Fantasy #2] :: cover credit goes to the lovely ATXNNA :: *heyo so this book is pretty old, some (a lot of) spelling mistakes, some (a lot of) plot holes, but if you're looking for some fast paced action and some sarcasm and some cliche romance you should honestly just go to the second book but yeah, this has got that, just with, you know, the glaring faults in the story line. Just a warning.

Hey, it's me again. Yes, Tide, the one and only Double Elemental. Even among the freaks I'm a freak. How fun. But enough about that. I'm a little busy trying to save the world from a genocidal woman who may or may not still be alive. I'm not entirely sure. So, because I have an unfortunate sense of morality, I am leaving the the peaceful beaches of Hawaii to travel to Russia and save the world from the above mentioned genocidal woman. Yay me. Sam is the most promising swordsman among this year’s crop of Paladin trainees...and knows it. Brash, cocky, and unbeatable with a sword (well, almost), Sam is the kingdom of Thule’s best hope against the violence wrought by demons. The only problem is that Sam is really Lady Samantha, daughter of the seventeenth Duke of Haywood, and if her father has his way, she’ll be marrying a Paladin, not becoming one. But Sam has never held much interest in playing damsel-in-distress, and so she rescues herself from a lifetime of boredom and matrimonial drudgery. Pity that Tristan Lyons, the Paladin assigned to train her, is none other than the hero of her childhood. He hasn’t recognized her as Lady Samantha--yet-- but if he does, he’ll take away her sword and send her packing. Sam is not the only trainee hiding secrets: Braeden is a half-demon with a dark past that might be unforgivable. Sam, Braeden and Tristan set out for the western coast, charged with rooting out an infestation of demons that has made the West unlivable. As they travel, they uncover a deep-seated corruption of power that threatens to derail everything they stand for. Rebellion stirs, led by a rival faction of warriors who tempt Sam to join them with an irresistible offer. A war between men is coming, and Sam must pick a side. Will saving the kingdom cost her life -- or just her heart? Reminiscent of Mulan, but with a medieval fantasy twist, Paladin is a tale of adventure, action, and romance.

*this story was written by Gibslythe on ao3* "Two whole months of free laundry in exchange for two weeks of being my fake boyfriend. Deal?" Keith hesitated for a moment. Was this really worth it? Hardly. Lance was an asshole, and he wasn't sure what fake dating would entail. But, free laundry was free laundry, right? "Alright, it's a deal." Or: Lance makes the mistake of telling his Mom he has a boyfriend coming home with him for Christmas. Keith makes the mistake of agreeing to be Lance's 'fake boyfriend'. This is actually the best fic I've ever read. It emotionally destroyed me and then put me back together only to kill me again. Read on ao3 : http://archiveofourown.org/works/7454385
