After these years of manipulating and watching humans, I'm now involved in the action myself. A smirk made its way to my face, my eyes lit up with interest. "Looks like I'm also a player in this game, eh? I wonder who'll win, L or Kira?" Little did everyone know the secrets lurking each character. It is, after all, a natural thing for unusual people. From queens to kings, from knights to pawns, from alters to egos, the world will always be full of deep dark secrets. A female detective in her late 20s who goes by the name of Mirai has been given the rare privilege to be assigned to an upcoming case revolving around a group of bizarre disappearances that have been happening over the past month in a small rural town. Because of such reasons as lacking experience and knowledge the task force Mirai is on neglects any input she has towards the case. Whilst striving to prove to her fellow employees that she is worthy of this case, things take a sudden turn however when Mirai bumps into an old friend who, somehow, is also on the case. Together will they be able to solve this case, or will they die trying?
