There are a lot of things, places and people a writer gets inspiration from. Though it's not the only, this writer has found the midnight to be her muse. As she lies awake and alone in the darkness of the night, she feels an illumination pushing from within her mind. It has a persistent sound and it won't be stopped until its red and blue tunes are poured forth on blank white pages. Firefly, a collection of 50 poems, is a product of these tunes.
