"But I'm your-" "I'm your what?!" He cut her off. She flinched at the acidity in his voice. "My wife?" He scoffed inching in on her until he was arms length. His eyes bored into the depths of her soul. He slurred the words with venom dripping from his tone. "You're only a signed contract, nothing more!" * * * "What's that shit doing on your face? you better remove it! you can't be walking on the streets of Chicago wearing that, this isn't your filthy Pakistan!" he ruthlessly spoke with disgust. "You mean my veil?" She questioned with fear placing a hand on her Niqab. "If it isn't obvious" "Please, don't call it that, it's my veil, my identity" "I'm sorry what?" "I can't remove it Saahir, p-please don't make me do this, its a part of me" she begged on the verge of tears. "I said take it off!" He yelled in a deep menacing voice and pulled it off her face throwing it mercilessly on the floor. Fresh tears pooled from her eyes Frustration built through him. He grabbed her shoulder and forcefully dragged her pushing her onto the floor. The floor hit Meeza harder than she had expected. "Oww" she yowled as the pain shot through her shoulder. "I was broken. Nothing, no one could fix me. Until you came into my life again. I wish I had gone with you that day instead of him. Because, now I can't imagine how I spent the previous years of my life without you by my side. You are my savior. You showed me that its okay to be broken and you showed me that I wasn't alone. You were with me. i love you for that. But I hate that I love you. I was never good with love. I'm scared that one day I'll wake up without you by my side. One day you will realize that you are better off without me and I don't want that day to come. Not now, not ever. I love you too much to let you go. I finally have a place in this world and that is next to you. You once said, 'Our mistakes compliment each other.' Truer words than these were never said before. We are both broken and incomplete but together, we're whole and we're fixed. We might be too bad for the others, but we are good for each other. They say all good things come to an end, but I'm bad and so are you. Together, we are horrible. But that just means that we're inevitable. You are mine and I promise to forever be yours." Rei, a former samurai lieutenant is reincarnated into the body of an 8 year old, who happens to be the main villainess in a romance novel for foreign girls. A villainess destined to be executed by her fiancé the crown prince for cruelty towards the heroine of the novel. To avoid being executed she must to make allies among her enemies, get out of the heroine's way, and untangle herself from the poisonous intrigue of court the best she can in the role of a future courtier. However, the vaguely described backdrop said nothing about the conflicts building beyond the heroine's understanding, or that women weren't allowed on the battlefield. I am honestly left speechless. I am very touched and honored by all the attention, by all the sweet, beautiful and fun comments I've received over the last month, it's been truly amazing. To those who already enjoy it, I hope you will continue to do so. To those who decide to pick it up, I hope you have as much fun with it as I did!

Melissa Crawford thinks she's just a regular teenage girl. She goes to school. She has friends, boy problems, homework...you know, the typical teenage angst. But she couldn't be more wrong, for Melissa Crawford is not a mortal. Her adoptive mortal mother refused to give her up and hired a witch to erase the enchanting Faery child's memory, not realizing that things aren't that simple. You see, when she was a little girl, Melissa promised herself forever to her Leannan Sidhe (mate), a Fae Prince, and a promise to Fae is sacred. When the Fae Prince comes back to claim what's his, nothing will get in his way. "Mortals are so arrogant. So utterly narcissistic to think that they are the only intelligence in this world, to believe their realm is the only realm, their way is the only way. "Many of you believe us fairies only exist in little kids' fairy tales. We are so much more than that. We exist, living in the Realm just a blink away from yours. A few wrong turns in the park or the forest and you're there. We sometimes walk among you, and you're not even aware of it. Believe me, we exist. Across the globe, your kind calls us and our realm by different names...but as William Shakespeare once said- a rose by any other name..."

"I knew I could crack your code" he smirked so accomplished with himself. "What do you want from me?" I asked my eyes narrowed at him as anger flooded within me. "One simple thing, only you can give me. I want you Madina, I want you to be mine" he whispered in my ear which caused shivers to run down my spine. I squeezed my eyes shut, repeating his words in my mind. I opened my eyes staring into his stormy ones. I put on the sweetest smile ever and said; "You wish asshole" With that I turned around to walk away. He grabbed my upper arm and slammed me against his rock hard chest. Damn is he secretly a tree? I asked myself, but snapped quickly back to reality. "Don't leave me" Bryson said in a broken voice, which caused me to furrow my eyebrows at him. "Why do you care if I do?!" I yelled which made me flinch at my own voice. "Because everyone leaves. I won't allow you to leave me. Not now, not ever Beads" -------- Who's the Hijabi's Best Mistake? Keep reading to find out! [BOOK ONE OF THE RIVALRY SERIES] ✨ • • • The kingdom of Asten is hosting the event of the century: IMPRESS, a deadly competition where six girls vie to captivate the dark and bloodthirsty prince. The prize? The crown of Asten and rule over its five regions-Agriassi, Iclia, Miriadan, Weimos, and the glittering capital, Aeralin. But failure isn't an option-because for the losers, death awaits. For Natalya Andrea Ascelyn, life has already been cruel. After living in poverty and losing her parents in a devastating village fire, she's forced to endure the torment of her spiteful Aunt Roslin. A glimmer of hope appears when her brother, a trusted guard of the prince, invites her to the royal castle. But Natalya's new life takes a treacherous turn when she's thrust into the IMPRESS event. While others compete for the prince's favour, Natalya's true mission is revenge. Determined to uncover who destroyed her family, she navigates a cutthroat world of dazzling banquets and shadowy conspiracies. Each trial pushes her to grow stronger, more cunning, and dangerously alluring. But the competition is more than she bargained for, filled with war, forbidden desires, blood-soaked betrayals, and the awakening of her mysterious abilities. She also learns that her enemies might be closer than she imagined. As alliances crumble and secrets surface, Natalya must decide how far she's willing to go for vengeance, and only one question remains: Will she survive the prince's deadly game long enough to find the perpetrator? One crown. Six girls. Only one will win-but will Natalya's thirst for revenge cost her everything? This story includes twisted violence, strong language and sexual content.
